WAFU B U-20: Flying Eagles aim to seal Group B top spot against Burkina Faso

Defending champions Flying Eagles of Nigeria will look to secure top spot in Group B of the WAFU B U-20 Championship when they take on Burkina Faso in their last group game on Sunday (today).

Abdu Maikaba’s side have already sealed their place in the semi-finals after winning their opening two games.

The Flying Eagles started their campaign with a 4-2 victory over the Black Satellites of Ghana.

Nigeria followed up with a comfortable 3-0 win over the Sparrow Hawks of Togo in their second game.

Burkina Faso  won one and drawn one of their opening two games against Togo, and Ghana.

Having amassed six points from two games, the Flying Eagles need a draw against Burkina Faso to seal top spot.
