‘Don’t rush to marry, marriage not achievement’ – B-Lord

Date:

Celebrity Nigerian businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, also known as Blord, has urged singles to wait until they financially and emotionally prepared before considering marriage.

Speaking in a recent episode of the Adult Gist podcast, B-Lord frowned at the practice of some youths rushing into marriage before they are financially stable due to peer pressure and societal standards.

He urged Nigerian youths not to rush into marriage, claiming that marriage is not an achievement.

“Don’t rush to marry. Take your time and make a good choice for a life partner. Don’t break ladies’ hearts because one day you are going to have a daughter and what you did to other people’s daughters someone else is going to do the same to your daughter.

“Treat women the way you want them to treat your daughter. Ladies, treat a man the way you want them to treat your son. So, don’t be in a rush to marry. Marriage is not an achievement. Nobody should push you into marriage. Because if you rush into marriage, you will rush out.

“So, take your time. Age doesn’t matter… Don’t marry who you will regret later. Because to reverse marriage is very very hard, most especially when children are involved,” he stated.
